Walk the macadamia farm, the fruit orchard and vegetable greenhouses, our farm prides itself on organic practices. See a variety of animals we have around including 40 head of cow, 6 deer, 2 horses, 6 lamas, 6 sheep, 20 chickens, and 2 dogs and 2 cats!
Our larger dam can be used for swimming, fishing (stocked with silver and golden perch) and kayaking. Walk through our very own rain forest and visit our waterfall or enjoy the birdwatching. But most of all, relax in our tranquil surroundings here at Sherwood Farm.
Within 30 minutes drive from us you have the amazing Coffs coast with so much too see and do.
The local beaches are also within a short drive including Corrindi Beach, Red rock, Muaway, Arrawara and woolgoolga. Super markets cafes and shopping are at Woolgoolga, Mooney beach Coffs harbour and Grafton.
The Coffs coast, Clarence valley and surrounded areas are blessed with many nature reserves, National parks and state forests, such as Sherwood nature reserve, Bandari National Park, Bruxner park Flora reserve, Mooney Beach Natures reserve, Mutton Bird Island Nature
reserve, Weddung bells state forrest, Conglomerate state forest, Lower Bucca state Forrest, Yuraygir National Park, Red Rock reserve, Washpool National park, Gibraitar National park, Nymboi- Bindery National park, and Dorigo National park.
The Big Banana
The Big Banana Fun Park is the Biggest and best Fun Park on the Northern NSW coast. It’s a full day of fun for the entire family set amongst the bananas, overlooking the amazing Coffs Harbour coastline.
Dolphin Marine Park
Dolphin Marine Conservation Park is the only zoological park in New South Wales exhibiting dolphins and the two daily presentations are the Coffs Coast region's star attraction. It's a day of fun for the whole family.
Dorrigo National Park
Dorrigo National Park is 1 hour from Coffs Harbour. Visit this World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforest on a day trip or school excursion, for breathtaking waterfall walks, picnic spots and excellent birdwatching.
Forest Sky Pier
The Forest Sky Pier offers magnificent coastal views over the city of Coffs Harbour and up and down the coastline. There are walking tracks through rainforest, picnic tables and toilets are provided.
Coffs Butterfly House
The Coffs Harbour Butterfly House offers visitors the opportunity to stroll amongst hundreds of live Australian butterflies in an indoor subtropical rainforest setting. You can now also see our new Dinosaur forest!
