Sherwood Farm offers a peaceful retreat where you can slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of country life. Wander through the macadamia orchard, meet our friendly animals — including deers, sheep, cows, and a pony — or relax by the tranquil dam. With a picnic area, fire pit, and kayaks, it's the perfect place to unwind or entertain outdoors.

For those craving a little adventure, a scenic rainforest trail leads to a hidden waterfall — a serene, soul-soothing spot to pause and take in nature. Each of the four 2-bedroom self-contained mud brick cottages are eco-friendly and have their own solar panels, batteries, and a diesel backup generator. Each cottage is built to the highest standards.

We initially encountered a few cleaning hiccups upon arrival, promptly addressed by the attentive staff. Despite the pool not meeting cleanliness expectations, the kids enjoyed a swim, captivated by the charming pond and kayaks. The tennis court's excellence complemented the picturesque backdrop, enhanced by deer roaming the paddock. Although the main room's fan malfunctioned, the caretaker swiftly provided a pedestal fan, proving accommodating during the heat. While an air conditioner for hot days would be ideal, David, the host, demonstrated exceptional assistance and communication. Great place to relax and enjoy the serenity. Overall, a delightful stay with minor improvements, and I'd gladly return.

Unbelievably relaxing oasis! Spent the weekend at Sherwood Farm. From the minute we entered the gate, it felt like a huge burden was taken off our shoulders. So peaceful and rejuvenating. our family had a lovely time doing the bush waterfall walks, feeding the animals and munching on macadamia nuts to our hearts content. Came away feeling like we’d been away on an amazing holiday, even though it was just a few nights. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to relax and unwind, while also being close to beaches and all amenities 🥰

Activities

Our larger dam can be used for swimming, fishing (stocked with silver and golden perch) and kayaking. Go for a walk to our own waterfall or enjoy birdwatching. But most of all, relax in and enjoy our tranquil surroundings.
